Academic Options at UCM
At UCM, you'll be able to choose from 150 areas of study, giving you a lot of options for your future.
You'll take about five classes each semester. A typical first semester includes:
- One or two general courses, such as math or English
- An introductory course in your major
- One or two elective courses
Ways to enhance your UCM education:
- Join one of our 200-plus student organizations.
- Study abroad in Great Britain, Germany, Australia or dozens of other countries.
- Take interesting and fun classes like Film Appreciation; Race, Class and Gender; or Vampire Literature.
- Join The Honors College. You'll take stimulating classes with other motivated students and complete a research project of your own design.
