Welcome to UCM
Creating new possibilities for your future begins with choosing RED today. The University of Central Missouri welcomes about 1,500 transfer students to campus each year who have begun their college experience elsewhere. Transfer students are very valuable to UCM because they typically have more diverse backgrounds, higher grade point averages-with two years of post-secondary education under their belts-and higher graduation rates.
UCM's future-focused academic programs will expand your concept of the classroom through hands-on learning projects, make an impact through community service and broaden your world with a global perspective. In addition, UCM's vibrant campus environment will make you feel right at home.
Resources for Future Transfer Students
Transfer guides are documents that can guide appropriate course selection at the community college. In addition to using transfer guides, always be sure to work closely with your Transfer Coordinator and community college advisor throughout your time at community college.

Orientation is conducted on an individualized basis for all new transfer students, and is tailored to the unique needs of students taking classes in Warrensburg, Lee's Summit, or online. Information regarding signing up for orientation is mailed in October for new spring students and March for new summer and fall students. Students taking classes on the main campus in Warrensburg will receive a printed copy of this book on their chosen orientation day.
