Undergraduate Research
Hertz Foundation Graduate Fellowship
- Supports graduate work leading to a Ph.D. in the physical, biological and engineering sciences
- Awards are based on merit, not need and consist of a cost-of-education allowance and a personal-support stipend
- Stipends are approximately $25,000, renewable annually for up to five years
- Fellowship can be used only at a select group of schools.
Eligibility:
- U.S. citizen of permanent resident
- Willing to commit to make skills available to the U.S. in time of national emergency
- College senior or graduate student planning to pursue a Ph.D. in physical sciences
