KMOS-TV "Missouri PBS"

KMOS-TV broadcasts programming from PBS into 38 Missouri counties from a tower located near Syracuse, Missouri. Our offices and studio comprise the Patton Broadcast Center on the UCM campus, located on the ground floor of the Wood and Martin Building.

In addition to the educational and enlightening PBS fare, we offer several programs highlighting life in central Missouri, and on our campus.

Mules Football The UCM Mules face off against Truman State on September 20 at 7 p.m. and KMOS-TV will air every exciting moment.

Central Missouri Tomorrow Chuck Ambrose hosts a quarterly look at the Show-Me state through the eyes of those who shape the vision and future of the state. In one-on-one interviews, Central Missouri Tomorrow introduces us to Missourians who have stories to share and insights into the potential for the future of the state.

 

University Magazine is produced weekly throughout the school year by students who gain valuable extra-curricular experience in all aspects of video production. Each program provides viewers with a glimpse into the activities of the university's students, faculty, staff and alumni. Saturdays at 4:30 p.m., Sundays at 10:30 p.m. and Friday nights at 8 p.m.

Sportspage profiles student athletes through interviews, features and game highlights. Each week team coaches review the competitions undertaken by the Mules and Jennies in the previous week. Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Saturdays at 5 p.m.

Study Abroad! on KMOS Live This call-in program featured a panel of students, faculty and staff members who answered viewer questions about the studying abroad experience. Information that includes the best time to go, costs, eligibility, and how college credits will be counted.


Show-Me Ag Missouri agriculture is in the midst of change. Farmers are joining together to process and market their products. Each month, host Kyle Vickers looks at some of Missouri's producer-owned projects. He will be joined by some farmers and others who are right in the middle of the action, taking charge of their own future.

Airs the 3rd Sunday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and the following Thursday at 8:30 p.m.

Season to Season Outdoors Information and fun for everyone interested in hunting and fishing, regardless of experience. Tony Edgar, professional outdoor sportsman and outfitter leads you across Missouri and through the seasons in search of game and fish. Sundays at 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 7 p.m.

KMOS 2 - Channel 6.2 KMOS Create features "Lifestyle" programming, which includes cooking, painting, travel and other how-to programs.

KMOS 3 - Channel 6.3 - MHz Worldview presents English-language international content including news, documentaries, dramas, mysteries, music and sports.
