Women's Studies Graduate Courses
WS 5225 Feminist Scholarship in the Humanities: Theory and Method (3) (or WS 5250 Required) Overview of the three women's liberation movements in the United States; examines mainstream historical revisions and interpretations as well as theory and method.
WS 5250 Feminist Scholarship in the Social Sciences: Theory and Method (3) (or WS 5225 Required) Exploration of the various feminist theories and methodologies used in the social sciences.
WS 5450 Colloquium in Women's and Gender Studies (1-6) (Required) Advanced study and class discussions in selected areas of women's studies. Special area of emphasis will be announced each semester by assigned instructor. May be repeated as areas change for a maximum of 6 hours.
