Operating under the University of Central Missouri’s (UCM) School of Graduate and Extended Studies, Workforce Central at UCM provides training, certificate programs, and development services for new-hire and incumbent workforces across the state of Missouri. Programs are delivered on our campuses in Warrensburg and Lee's Summit, as well as where the workforce development needs of our partners and the community exists.
Workforce Central specializes in learning solutions, creating opportunities for individuals and organizations to succeed in a fast-paced, ever-changing knowledge economy. We focus on finding new ways to connect employers to training and services that will more effectively address their talent and organizational development needs. We also assist individuals in gaining the knowledge and skills needed to become effective in a new career or competitive in their existing one.
We use a competency-based approach, customizable to meet your training needs and goals. We believe in strategic partnerships, drawing from a rich pool of content, expertise, and resources to deliver our training programs and development services. In addition, UCM offers a state-of-the-art conference and meeting space for events and accommodates groups up to 150 people at our Summit Center location in Lee’s Summit.
