Missouri Customized Training Program (MCTP)
Workforce Central best serves the organizations in our region by providing customized training services targeted to meet the unique needs of an organization or industry/sector consortium. Virtually any training program can be delivered on your site, on our campus, or at another location of your choice.
University of Central Missouri is recognized by the Department of Economic Development's Division of Workforce Development (DWD) as a Local Education Agency (LEA) to provide access for Missouri based companies to the Missouri Customized Training Program (MCTP).
About the Missouri Customized Training Program
The Missouri Customized Training program, operated by the Department of Economic Development's Division of Workforce Development (DWD), is an essential tool in the State's efforts to attract and maintain viable industries while preparing Missouri's current workforce for the economic challenges of the global marketplace.
The Missouri Job Development Fund is the Department of Economic Development's funding source for the Missouri Customized Training Program. As a part of economic development, this program strives to meet the need for specialized industry training with a focused goal of keeping Missouri's workforce competitive.
The MCTP is designed to assist companies with training Missouri workers to meet the increased demands of technology, quality, and productivity while focusing on job creation and retention, capital investment, and wage rates.
