Counseling Center Tip of the Week
Posted: 6/12/2013 - NEVER EXERCISE. Exercise wastes a lot of time that could be spent worrying.
AVOID "WOO-WOO" PRACTICES. Ignore evidence suggesting that meditation, yoga, deep-breathing, and/or mental imaging help to reduce stress.
THROW OUT YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR. Staying stressed is no laughing matter, and it shouldn’t be treated as one.
PROCRASTINATE. Putting things off to the last second always produces a marvelous amount of stress.
If your feeling stressed stop by and we can help with some strategies to help reduce your stress levels.
Call 660-543-4060 or stop by Humphreys 131 today to set up an appointment.
