Posted: 7/31/2013 - Give some thought to what you want to accomplish in your next semester. “Get better grades” is an admirable goal, but take the time to break this down into specific actions. This will ensure your success.
For example: “I will attend every class [unless physically ill]…or I will review my lecture notes within 24 hours of each class.”
Another example: If you get anxious asking questions in class. You might set a goal to schedule an appointment at the Counseling Center to get some help with this problem.
