UCM Hosts Screening and Discussion of "The Abolitionists"
Posted: 9/11/2013 - Joining a national initiative by the National Endowment for the Humanities, the University of Central Missouri Department of History and Anthropology will present a screening and forum discussion of the documentary “The Abolitionists” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, in Laura J. Nahm Auditorium.
The UCM program will feature a showing of the documentary, followed by a panel discussion. Guest panelists will include Jessica Cannon, assistant professor of history; Albion Mends, instructor of religious studies; Eric Tenbus, professor and chair of the Department of History and Anthropology; and Micah Alpaugh, assistant professor of history.
