Posted: 10/14/2013 - The McNair Scholars Program serves students who are first-generation, low-income and/or underrepresented by ethnicity or race to prepare for graduate study towards a Ph.D.
Do you want the opportunity to earn $2,800 this summer?
McNair provides everything you need to successfully enter and succeed in graduate school.
To be eligible to apply, you MUST meet these 3 conditions: 1. be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; 2. be an undergraduate maintaining at least a 3.0 GPA who will be graduating Fall 2014 or Spring 2015 and who is seriously planning graduate studies at the doctoral level, and; 3. be a first-generation and low-income student (generally that means neither parent graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree and you qualify for Pell Grants) OR be a student from an ethnic or racial group underrepresented in graduate studies.
