- Develop a foundation for a professional philosophy based on both historical and current knowledge of sport management.
- Solve science-oriented problems utilizing appropriate concepts, principles, theories and technology in sport settings.
- Gain an awareness of administering sport and recreational programs for diverse populations.
- Utilize diverse communication, interaction and facilitation techniques toward the implementation of a successful leadership style in sports organizations.
- Demonstrate knowledge and use of legal concepts applied toward sport management, including implementation of risk management plans
