At UCM, it's easy to study abroad!

  1. Attend a Study Abroad 101 session.
  2. Complete our free, easy online application.
  3. Meet with your personal study abroad adviser.
  4. Get your passport and visa (if applicable), and GO!

Affordability & Convenience

  • Grant funding is available for every student.
  • Use financial aid, loans, grants and scholarships for study abroad.
  • Many study abroad programs are comparable to the cost of attendance at UCM.
  • Earn UCM credit while enrolled in another country and stay on track to complete your degree in four years.

The Choice is Yours

    Various time commitments:

    • Two weeks abroad
    • Two-six week summer programs
    • Semester abroad
    • Year-long abroad (academic year)


  • Complete 24 credit hours of college credit.
  • Maintain good academic standing.
  • Stay off disciplinary probation.

How to Apply

  • Attend a Study Abroad 101 session to learn about your options.
  • Apply online to up to three programs.
  • Meet with your study abroad adviser to make your final selection.
  • Meet with your academic adviser for program specific guidance.
