Study Abroad Global Ambassador Program

Study Abroad Global Ambassadors are appointed each academic year to support the CGE in our efforts to promote study abroad and prepare students for a successful experience.

In order to apply, students must meet the following criteria:
  • Have participated in a UCM-approved Study Abroad program within the last two years
  • Be currently enrolled as a full-time student at UCM
In order to promote Study Abroad to the UCM campus in a positive, productive manner, Study Abroad Global Ambassadors are required to complete the following requirements each semester:
  • Participate in at least two major events for the Study Abroad program
  • Lead at least three presentations to prospective students; these may be completed by giving classroom presentations or by participating in the weekly Study Abroad 101 sessions.
  • Work at least five hours in the CGE office to gain hands-on experience in the Study Abroad office; students can choose from a variety of possible projects
