About Me
During my career, I have worked at the high school, community college and university levels, and at UCM, have worked in a variety of roles (UCM Extended Campus liaison to Whiteman Air Force Base, Agriculture faculty, Extended Studies Assistant Director, Co-director of the Missouri Center for Career Education, CTE faculty). I maintain full graduate faculty status and am actively working to expand the course offerings in the CTE graduate programs. In addition to teaching courses online, I work with CTE professionals on research, curriculum development, revision, and academic integration. Part of my time is devoted to developing initiatives that have the potential for helping CTE professionals connect with each other and with innovative programs. I currently work with ACTE on CTE Learn, the Asia Society on integrating global competencies in CTE using the PMIEF Educators’ Toolkit, school counselors on comprehensive school counseling, and contribute to UCM’s efforts to update CTE traditional and non-traditional teacher education programs.
