Meet Singhy Ndong
As a graduate assistant for development, Singhy Ndong is happy to be able to use the skills and knowledge he gained while earning his actuarial science degree to develop solutions that help the UCM Foundation analyze its data. Singhy graduated from UCM in May 2012 with a degree in actuarial science and mathematics with a minor in finance.
As a graduate student, he continues to study applied mathematics. Originally from Senegal in West Africa, Singhy has been at UCM for six years. He has worked as a tutor in math, finance, statistics and French and was the international student ambassador at the UCM International Center from 2009 to 2011. In his spare time, he enjoys playing ping pong, soccer, Texas Hold-em, watching NBA games and learning mind games.
