Meet Gary Abram
Gary Abram of Blue Springs, Mo., is the founding partner of HCap International. He graduated from UCM, cum laude, with a BS in education in 1975 and earned teaching certificates in English, physics and math. Before and during college, he played professional baseball and as a student was also the Mules’ pitching coach.
After three years as a high school teacher and baseball coach, Gary changed careers to the insurance industry where he spent most of his time as an executive search consultant. In 1998, he shifted his focus and became the executive vice president of development for Eagle Global Logistics.
In 2000, Gary became a founding partner of HCap International, an established practice that includes 16 partners whose expertise covers every aspect of management including human resources, organizational development, process, business development, marketing and governance.
