Kimberly Stewart has been a full-time instructor at the University of Central Missouri in Communications Disorders since August 2010 and teaches the following: Introduction to Communication Disorders, Clinical Practicum courses, School Age Issues in Communication Disorders, and Praxis Exam Preparation.

She is the Coordinator of the RiteCare Early Language and Literacy Lab and serves as Advisor for the UCM National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA).

Professional areas of interest:  language and literacy, clinical supervision, autism spectrum disorders, and motor speech disorders. 

 

Professionally-related Service Activities:  Missouri-Language-Hearing Association (MSHA) Convention Planning Team, member of the Convention Planning Team since 2008 serving as the chair of various committees, currently Student Interest Chair.  MSHA Executive Board member served as the Vice President of Legislative Affairs 2014-2015.
