The University of Central Missouri (UCM) has enjoyed continuing regional accreditation with the North Central Association (NCA) since 1915. The University's most recent re-accreditation effort resulted in a successful site visit in March of 2014. In the summer of 2014, the University was officially notified by the Higher Learning Commission, the accrediting arm of the NCA, that UCM was re-accredited through 2024. The University was found to meet all of the Accreditation Criteria as well as all of the Core Components with no recommendations for follow-up. The Final Team Report also indicated the University met all of the Federal Compliance standards. UCM will now be embarking on a new process for accreditation called Open Pathways. More information about Open Pathways can be found at https://www.ncahlc.org/Pathways/open-pathway.html.
