First 40 Days - Student Life - University of Central Missouri

First 40 Days

Throughout the First 40 days (six weeks) of school, attend at least seven events, one from each track, and two additional events. Each track, denoted by a color, represents a category.

At First 40 events, students:

 

 

  • Meet new friends.

  • Learn about campus and the Warrensburg community.

  • Create a new hobby or interest.

 


Bring your smart phone to each event to log in and receive credit
.

 

To track events and claim prizes, you need to download the QBot application

 
 
 


If you do not have a smart phone, a punch card can be picked up in the Office of Student Activities in Elliott Student Union 217.


"Love" the First 40 Days on QBot to receive a free red tumbler that is good for refills in the Union Food Court and Chick-fil-A

Leadership Development, Civic Engagement and Service Track

On September 17, 1787, the 55 delegates to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia held their
annual meeting and signed the Constitution of the United States of America. Come celebrate this
defining moment in American history with a series of events and activities Sept 14-18.

Refreshments will be provided at the events.

Monday - September 14th, Union Atrium 10am-2pm

Voter Registration
Bring a government-issued ID to the union mall and get registered to vote in the next election.
Free food will be provided for those who register!

Tuesday - September 15th, Union 238 at 3:30 p.m.

Talking Mules Debate
The award winning debate team will discuss if all U.S. citizens should be required by law to vote.

Wednesday - September 16th, Union 236 7pm-11pm
Republican Primary Debate Watch Party
Enjoy the Republican primary debate and
a discussion following the debate led by Dr. Wendy Gieger.
