Kinde Recognized as Outstanding Young Professional by NAFSA

WARRENSBURG, MO (Nov. 27, 2017) – Taylor Kinde, student services coordinator and international student advisor for the School of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Central Missouri, received the Outstanding Young Professional Award from the National Association of Foreign Student Advisors at the NAFSA conference in Denver.

The award is presented to the individual who has provided activities or services that promote international education, demonstrated innovation in his or her area of specialization, presented at conferences or published his or her work, and contributed to international education as a volunteer leader.

Kinde received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with a minor in International Justice and Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from UCM. She received a Master of Arts degree in Educational Administration and Student Affairs from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and currently is a doctoral student in the Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis program at the University of Missouri. She has lived and studied in Italy, Sweden, Costa Rica and Ecuador.
