WARRENSBURG, MO (Oct. 12, 2010) – Candidates for U.S. Senate Roy Blunt and Robin Carnahan will appear in a televised debate, on KMOS-TV, the University of Central Missouri's public broadcasting station, at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 14. It will be aired on three other PBS stations across the state.
The debate will be taped in Kansas City with Nick Haines of producing station KCPT acting as moderator. Questions will be directed to the candidates by panelists representing several media outlets: Micheal Mahoney (KMBC), Steve Kraske (The Kansas City Star), Tony Messenger (The St. Louis Post Dispatch), Larry Seward (KSHB) and Sylvia Maria Gross (KCUR).
KMOS-TV serves viewers in 38 counties across central Missouri with high quality, award-winning programs for all ages.
