UCM Requirements for PLTW Instructors:
- PLTW certification in each course for which credit is being requested.
- Verify PLTW eligibility of each student applying for college credit. Students must have a final course grade of B, or better, and have earned a stanine score of 6, or better, on-end-of course exam. Student Credit Application Form must be submitted with an official transcript denoting their grade.
- Instructors receive a $25 stipend per student regardless of class size. To receive the stipend you must complete and submit a W-9 form and Cooperative Agreement. These documents can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org or mailed to: UCM Dual Credit Office, Humphreys 410 Warrensburg, MO 64093.
The following courses are approved for PLTW through the University of Central Missouri:
CTE 1300 - Introduction to Engineering Design (3 credit hours)
ENGT 1000 - Principles of Engineering (3 credit hours)
ET 1050 - Digital Principles & Applications (4 credit hours)
Engineering Design and Development (3 credit hours)
