Team UCM

Sponsored by Innovative PR, the UCM PR program's award-winning student-led agency.

Public Relations Student Society of America

PRSSA opens the doors to all kinds of great opportunities. Its members make great friends, learn from pros about the field of public relations and what it has to offer, network with like-minded individuals, and develop skills they take with them to the job market. Engaged PRSSA membership is positively correlated with employment success.

PRSSA maintains an active schedule. Its members visit award-winning agencies, corporate PR office and non-profit headquarters; host CEO-, VP- and entry-level speakers; engage in service and community projects; and learn from the best when they attend the #PRSSAKCSummit. They can also win PRSSA scholarships, compete in the national Bateman Competition, become a national officer, attend the national conference, and participate in many regional events.
