10:00 AM-2:00 PM at the mall in front of the University Union
Volunteers will collect and sort office trash in an effort to demonstrate the amount of our waste taht is recyclable. Universities offices are invited to bring their trash for sorting.

Tickets are required. A limited number of tickets are available with 50% reserved for students. Tickets will be distributed to faculty, staff, and students on a first come, first serve basis. To request a ticket, please contact Shari Bax.

Book Launch: The Galapagos: Exploring Darwin’s Tapestry
7:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. in the Gallery of Art & Design, Art Center room 215

John Hess, professor emeritus of biology, will discuss his new book "The Galápagos: Exploring Darwin's Tapestry" The talk begins at 7:30 p.m., followed by a reception and a book signing opportunity. A limited number of books will be offered for sale.
