TRIO Programs
University of Central Missouri proudly hosts two Federal TRIO Programs funded by the United States Department of Education: Student Support Services (SSS) since 1978 and McNair Scholars Program since 1991. Both programs provide services and opportunities for success to first-generation, low-income students and students underrepresented in higher education. Students with these characteristics often enter college but do not complete the bachelor's degree or enter graduate study without additional assistance.
