TRIO-SSS Introductory Writing Courses
Writing Courses 3 semester hours each
TRIO writing classes enable students to build a foundation for successful written communication.
AE 0101 - Writing I helps students learn, once and for all, how to construct sentences correctly and to develop them into great paragraphs. Writing I does not count toward graduation requirements, but if you NEED it to pass the next course, take it now. It’s FREE.
AE 1102 - Writing II improves composition skills gradually through essays and writing exercises, so students can be ready to succeed in Composition I and in all UCM courses. Writing II is an elective credit, meets Planned Placement requirement, and substitutes for AE 1000. And it’s FREE!
