The Mules, who are receiving votes in the first AFCA regular season poll, scored an impressive season-opening win against Southwest Baptist University on Saturday evening in Bolivar, Mo., with a 60-13 triumph.

Mules to debut new MIAA TV Network

The MIAA has announced the launch of a new TV network that will showcase conference football and basketball games during the 2010-2011 school year. The Mules opening home game against Emporia State on Saturday, Sept. 11th, will be the first televised game on the network...More Info »

Kick-off for the Mules game against Emporia State has been moved to 2:20 p.m., to accommodate the television coverage.

Central Missouri football will be on television three times during the football season, including an October 9 game at Fort Hays State, and an October 30 contest at Missouri Southern. Times for each of those two games will be announced at a later date.

UCM is also announcing that KMOS-TV in Warrensburg will replay each of the Central Missouri games to approximately 800,000 households throughout the state. The games will be replayed the following day, Sunday, at 4 p.m.

Every Central Missouri football contest in MIAA play will still be shown via webcast at www.b2tv.com on a pay-per-view or season pass basis. Fans can also listen to each game on 98.5 “The BAR”, 1450 KOKO and www.warrensburgradio.com starting 80 minutes prior to kickoff, as well as 90.9 “The Bridge” starting just prior to kickoff.

Jennies Volleyball to open 2010 season

Jennies volleyball will open their 2010 schedule Friday in Tampa, Fla., as they compete in the Tampa Classic.

The Jennies, ranked fifth in the AVCA D-II Preseason Poll, will take on Nebraska-Kearney (1:30 p.m. - ET) and Northern Kentucky (6 p.m. - ET) on Friday before concluding play with a pair of matches Saturday. adobe reader iconJennies Notes

Mules Golf to tee off new season

Mules golf will tee-off the Fall portion of their 2010-2011 season this Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 6-7, at the Missouri Intercollegiate Meet in Sunrise Beach, Missouri.

The Mules are coming off a runner-up finish in the NCAA-II championships in May, the highest finish in school and MIAA history.
