Huffman receives more post-season honors
Allie Huffman, tabbed the Freshman of the Year in the South Central Region by the AVCA, has added "Honorable Mention All-American" to her post-season honors. Huffman, named the MIAA "Freshman of the Year" earlier, was selected to the
AVCA-II All-American Squad.
The Jennies had three other players receive honorable mention on the All-Region Squad in Rachel Fister, Paula Harris, and Caitlin Pankratz. More Info »
Jennies basketball opens MIAA with road win
Jennies basketball opened MIAA play Tuesday night with an 86-66 victory over Southwest Baptist in Bolivar, Missouri. The Jennies, who improved to 4-1, saw five players score in double figures, with three posting double-double performances.
Becca Roberts led the way with 18 points and 16 rebounds, while Kara Fleming tallied 16 points with 10 rebounds to go along with seven assists, and Meghan Waggoner came off the bench to finish with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Jennies travel to Joplin, Mo., on Saturday evening for a league match-up against Missouri Southern at 5:30 p.m.
Mules basketball falls in MIAA opener
Mules basketball dropped their MIAA opener Tuesday night, falling 98-70 to Southwest Baptist in Bolivar, Missouri. In a battle of unbeaten and nationally ranked teams, the Mules (ranked 22nd in the latest NABC D-II Poll) trailed the entire game and suffered their first loss of the 08-09 season.
Alex Moosman led UCM with 14 points and five assists, while Tremaine Luellen and Joe Young tallied 13 points each, as the the Mules see their overall record dip to 5-1. Mules Recap »
The Mules will look to bounce back Saturday night when they travel to Joplin, Mo., for a conference battle against Missouri Southern at 7:30 p.m.
Jennies bowling sixth in weekend event
Jennies bowling finished sixth overall (first in the NCAA division) of the National Collegiate Team Match Games that concluded on Saturday in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Theresa Christopher had the top individual performance for the Jennies with a 187.5 average.

Mules wrestling idle over break
Mules wrestling was idle over the weekend after competing Sunday, Nov. 23rd, at the Missouri Open, hosted by the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Freshman/Sophomore Division Results
The Mules return to the mats on Saturday, Dec. 6th, at the Fort Hays State Open in Hays, Kansas.
Mule Train monthly luncheon will be held this Friday, December 5th, at Heroes Restaurant, 107 West Pine, in downtown Warrensburg.
The luncheon will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. The cost of the buffet lunch will be $8.00. Winter coaches will discuss their seasons and there will also be a drawing for UCM prizes. All Mule Train donors and prospective donors are invited to attend
