Jennies Soccer
Hall and Rhodes named All-Region
Melanie Hall (left) and Alyssa Rhodes (right) were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Central Region Team. Hall was recognized as a first-team honoree as Rhodes was a second-team member.
Hall, a Topeka, Kan. native, led the Jennies this season with 11 goals, four game-winners and four assists. She was in the top three in the MIAA in shots (second with 77), points (second with 26) and goals (third with 11). This is the second NSCAA All-Region selection for Hall.
Rhodes, an Olathe, Kan. native, scored one goal for the Jennies while assisting on two others this season. This is the first NSCAA All-Region selection for Rhodes.
UCM finished the season on a seven-game win streak, going 13-5-2 overall and finishing third in the conference with a 12-3-1 mark.

Jennies will not advance to the NCAA-II postseason for the first time in four seasons after they were left out of the South Central Regional field announced Monday.
NCAA Release
Jennies closed out the 2009 season with seven consecutive victories to cap a 12-3-1 mark in MIAA play, and an overall record of 13-5-2.
