Coach Martin on Andrea Robertson: “Battling injuries so far in her career she  has still been able to put together decent numbers but has not been able to reach her expectations.  Great all around volleyball player when healthy and above average when injured.  Hopefully her senior year will be her best.”

As a Junior: Battled injuries all season but managed to earn second-team All-MIAA honors for the second consecutive year... Ranked third on the team with 2.85 kills per game and tallied 14 double-figure kills matches... Had a season-high 20 kills against Missouri Southern on September 30... Also hit a season-high .577 against Pittsburg State the next day with 16 kills on 26 attacks and an error... Was named the MIAA Hitter of the week on October 1 for her play against MSSU and PSU... Also grabbed MIAA Commisioner’s Academic Honor Roll.

As a Sophomore: Earned second-team All-MIAA and second-team Daktronics All-Region honors in 2005... She was second on the team in points and attack percentage... had season high 25.5 points and 21 kills against Northwest Missouri on Oct. 15... had 29 double-figure kill matches and a double-double in kills and digs against Southern Illinois-Edwardsville with career-high 15 digs, adding 14 kills... set career highs in nearly every offensive category... Also earned MIAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll for her work in the classroom.

As a Freshman:   Missed most of the season with a back injury, but came on strong late ... she finished the year with 91 kills in 49 games ... she added 36 digs and 48 total blocks (nine solo, 39 asssits) ... also had eight service aces for 127.5 points on the year ... in her first match as a collegiate athlete, she had 11 kills, four assists, six digs, and 10 total blocks (one solo, nine assists) at Truman (Oct. 6) ... she also had 11 kills at Ouachita Baptist (Oct. 8) and vs. Southern Arkansas (Oct. 9) ... she had a season-high five service aces to go with seven kills and four blocks vs.Missouri Western (Oct. 15).

In High School:  Graduated from Hermann High School, where she lettered all four years in volleyball and twice in basketball ... was named all-conference, all-district, and all-state as a sophomore, junior, and senior, and helped lead Hermann High to three straight state titles ... also appeared in the state All-Star game as a senior.

Personal:  Majoring in Physical Education with a 3.40 grade-point average ... born April 7, 1986 ... daughter of Pamela and Randy Esphorst.
