Can I really do this program from anywhere?
Yes! Now that the Master of Science in CTE program is available online, you can attend the University of Central Missouri from anywhere in the world. This means that you have access to UCM's outstanding faculty and engaging coursework from your home.
What are the admission requirements?
You must have at least 15 approved undergraduate or graduate hours in the major field of study, equivalent work experience or a combination of both. A minimum GPA of 2.5 in your undergraduate major or a 3.0 GPA during the last 60 hours of your undergraduate work is also required.
Additionally, applicants should submit two professional letters of recommendation and a personal letter of intent describing how this degree will assist them in meeting their career goals.
What are the differences among the learning tracks?
Each option within the MS in CTE is designed specifically for either certified teachers, new teachers, administrators or industry personnel. By offering these three options, we are able to provide you with the coursework most pertinent to your future success.
How much will it cost?
Online courses through UCM cost about $330 per credit hour.
When can I start?
The MS in CTE courses are offered in the spring, summer and fall.
