ECEL 5720: Childhood Curriculum and Assessment
This course offers teachers an opportunity to build upon and use the knowledge and skills learned in earlier coursework. The course emphasizes Constructivist and Social Constructivist theory into practice. A thorough knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices is essential for success in the course. Emphasis will be placed on the importance of carefully designed programs which promote growth and development of children (aged 0-12 years).
Credit: 3 graduate hours.
