Ms. Natalie Tye is an instructor in Early Childhood Education. e graduated from UCM (2004) with a bachelopr of Science in Education degree in Child and Family Development and with a Master's degree (2006) in Educational Technology. She has taught at UCM since 2005, starting as a preschool teacher and taking over as director of the Child Development Lab in 2007. She believes children learn through their play, and therefore, adults should as well. I strive to make course work relevant and interesting to the college students. Courses she teaches include Development and Learning through Play and Practicum in Child Development. Natalie was recently admitted to the MU Missouri Statewide Cooperative EdD Program in Educational Leadership in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. Her research interests include Early Childhood Eduction and school readiness.
Originally from the Warrensburg area, she and her husband and have three amazing, energetic boys. Her family has a dog named Cindy with her own dog who is yet to be named. Her talents include juggling (duties that is) and family.
