Dr. Castro has worked in, or supervised most areas of Student Affairs, including Student Life, Residence Life, College Unions, Student Programs and Activities, Leadership, Auxiliary Services, Student Affairs Marketing and Research, and First-Year Experience programs. Additionally he has served as Chief Diversity Officer for the university. His current research focus is on the transfer student experience and diversity and inclusive excellence.
