Housing Happenings
Welcome to University Housing
There's a lot to love about the University of Central Missouri's housing. First year students live on a residence floor with other first year students. Everyone is making the same adjustment to college life, so relating to each other is easy. This helps students make some great friends. Plus, we have other great benefits like a free movie channel - MuleMax 95. Get the airing schedule!
However, convenience is the number one reason students continue to stay on campus after their first year. While commuters everywhere are driving to campus, on-campus students are snug in their beds. On-campus students also do not have to worry about the rising gas prices because everything they need is within a few steps from their door. Those students considering commuting can calculate gas costs online. Also, coming in the fall 2008 - WIRELESS INTERNET!
Home Suite Home
One benefit of housing is that UCM has a suite system instead of community baths, so students only share a bathroom with one other room. Another benefit is that many of our halls are handicap accessible. The big question though is what to bring, we've got the answers!
Worry About Grades... Not Dinner
Students living on-campus enjoy the close proximity to dining halls. Dining halls are located in Todd, Fitzgerald, Ellis and Panhellenic Halls. Also, there are great dining options located in the Elliott University Union. Visit Sodexho's website for weekly menus, dining hours, meal plan options, and more.
