Housing Sign-Up

The sign-up process has now started for current students!

To Live in a Residence Hall
To Live in an On-Campus Apartment

 

Bonus! Free T-shirt for the first 1000 people to submit their residence hall agreement or be offered and sign an apartment agreement. Pick up your t-shirt in the Housing Office, Ellis L23.

 

To Live in a Residence Hall:

Residence hall room selection is first come, first served.

  1. Complete your residence hall agreement on your MyCentral account by Feb. 20 to be eligible for the FIRST round of sign ups. When you submit your housing agreement, you will get an email with information on dates when you are eligible sign up and how to pick your room, roommate and suitemates. You can also find instructions in our ONLINE INSTRUCTION MANUAL.
  2. During your designated sign-up dates, pick your room, roommate and suitemates online.
    • Room retention online sign up (keep your current room) is Feb. 26-28 (must submit housing agreement by Feb. 20, currently live on an upper-class floor and not be displaced).
    • FIRST round of online open sign up begins March 5 (must submit housing agreement by Feb. 20).
    • Online open sign up begins March 8 (for those who submitted their housing agreement after Feb. 20).

 

Remember, most residence hall rooms will be double occupancy next year. There will be a limited number of single rooms available in the residence halls. To select your roommate and/or suitemates, you will need his or her 700# and birth date. Check your email for instructions.

 

To Live in an On-Campus Apartment:

Foster/Knox, Todd and Nickerson Apartments:

To be eligible to live in Foster/Knox, Todd, or Nickerson apartments you must have 30 or more UCM-accepted credit hours.

 

Current residents will be eligible to reapply for their same apartment from February 2-4, 2015. Current students will be able to reapply for a different apartment within their apartment complex from February 5-6, 2015.

Students will be able to sign up for an apartment with a roommate or sign up for a private apartment.

 

Beginning February 9, 2015, the remaining apartments will be filled with students from the apartment waiting list based on the date the apartment application was received. The apartment application will go live on the MyCentral portal beginning December 1, 2014.

 

 

Greenwood and Central Village Apartments:

To be eligible to live here, you must have 60 or more UCM-accepted credit hours, be at least 20 years old or a graduate student, be married, or have guardianship of a dependent.

 

Current residents will be eligible ro reapply for their same apartment beginning February 23, 2015.

 

Beginning March 16, 2015, the remaining apartments will be filled with students from the apartment waiting list based on the date the apartment application was received. Beginning February 9, 2015, the remaining apartments will be filled with students from the apartment waiting list based on the date the apartment application was received. The apartment application will go live on the MyCentral portal beginning December 1, 2014.

 

 

The Crossing Apartments:

The apartment application will go live on the MyCentral portal beginning December 1, 2014.

 

Priority is given to those who submit their application by January 16, 2015.  Assignments will be made for those who meet this initial priority date based on 1) those admitted Fall 2013 in support of Learning to a Greater Degree and then 2) all others who meet this initial priority date.

 

Those who submit their application after January 16, 2015, will be added to The Crossing waitlist and will be contacted should an apartment be available.
