Prepare for Your Career
Central Missouri's undergraduate and graduate programs prepare students for careers that require the methods of reasoning, model building procedures, and problem-solving skills that are learned in mathematics, computer science, and actuarial science classes. The department offers majors in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Secondary Mathematics Education, and a Mathematics minor that leads to certification to teach math in grades 5-9. A Master of Science degree program with options in both pure and applied mathematics is also available.
The Department sponsors the Missouri Journal of Mathematical Sciences, a professional journal.
