Dr. Yue received his BS and MS from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1996 and 1999, respectively. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati in 2004. Dr. Yue joined the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science as an assistant professor in 2004 and was promoted to associate professor with tenure in 2009. He was a visiting professor with the Department of Computer Science at the Winston Salem State University between 2003 and 2004.
Dr. Yue's research interests include wireless communications and signal processing and he published many peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings on these areas. He also obtained more than half million funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and Google.
Dr. Yue is a senior member of IEEE, a technical reviewer for numerous journals and conferences, a panelist for NSF and a member of the Technical Program Committee for the International Symposium of Networking and Wireless Communications and Wireless Telecommunications Symposium.
