Dr. Zhong

Dr. Jiaofei Zhong received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas, under supervision of Professor Weili Wu, in 2012. Dr. Zhong received her B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Renmin University and The University of Texas at Dallas in 2008 and 2010, respectively. She was a Teaching Assistant at the Jonsson School and a Research Assistant in the Data Communication and Data Management Lab between 2008 and 2012. Dr. Zhong has finished 15 peer-reviewed research papers published in or submitted to reputable journals and international conferences. Her research has been supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation, and partly by the Natural Science Foundation of China. She has served as a peer reviewer for more than 10 journals and international conferences, and has been the Publicity Chair, Financial Chair, and OCS co-Chair in the organizing committees of several international conferences. Her research interests are in the areas of data engineering and information management, especially in Wireless Communication Environment, including Data Broadcasting, Vehicle Ad hoc Networks, Sensor Database Coverage, and Cloud Computing.
