Central Missouri Mathematics Educators
CMME is a University of Central Missouri sponsored organization dedicated to educating and supporting pre-service teachers by providing them with opportunities and learning experiences that extend and supplement what they learn in their math education classes. CMME holds monthly meetings that include programs consisting of hands-on math activities led by outstanding teachers, panel discussions led by current student teachers, and useful demonstrations led by members of the UCM faculty. Members also sponsor 1 or 2 service projects each year, usually consisting of a math fun carnival night at one of the local schools, and attend state meetings of math educators. And, of course, there is always FOOD at these meetings!
