The Department of Nutrition & Kinesiology offer a wide variety of academic majors including Athletic Training, Dietetics, Health Studies, Medical Technology, Corporate Fitness, Exercise Science, and Physical Education K-12. Additionally, a student may select a minor from Coaching, Fitness/Wellness, Foods, or Health Education . The Department also offers a Master of Science in Kinesiology with emphases in Exercise Science, Sports Management, & Pedagogy.

Morrow-Garrison Renovation
During spring of 2011 the University of Central Missouri opened the newely renovated Walter E. Morrow, North Morrow, and James R. Garrison Buildings. Spanning 100,000 square feet, these facilities contribute to the education of students in the Department of Nutrition & Kinesiology, providing classrooms, laboratories and faculty office space. The goal of this project was to install state-of-the-art mechanical systems that are energy efficient, redesign academic and office space, upgrade lab functions and gymnasia, as well as improve handicap accessibility.
