Welcome to the Department of Psychological Science, a dynamic and diverse unit that offers degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The department includes eight full-time faculty, ten adjunct faculty, and five graduate assistants. There are approximately 300 majors, 60 minors, and 25 graduate students. The department emphasizes the scientific basis of psychology and encourages collaborative faculty-student research. We pride ourselves on providing unique opportunities such as faculty-student research collaborations, specialized research facilities (e.g., labs for Neurocognition and Behavioral Medicine), a departmental computer lab for class use and open lab hours, and numerous department-funded awards such as the Jerome M. Sattler Research Awards and Department Tuition Awards.
