Welcome to the Bookmark Project Homepage!
The Bookmark Project is a service project of the University of Central Missouri chapter of Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology. The project is the result of work done by several Psi Chi members.
Deciding which books are truly scientific can be difficult for many people who do not have training in scientific methodology. Our goal is to develop simple criteria that could be used to help the public distinguish between books that are based on science and books that are not science-based. This knowledge could lead to a greater understanding of the scientific process and help deter people from believing pseudoscientific or non-scientific claims.
