Psychological Science
Annual Banquet
Each spring the Department of Psychological Science holds its annual banquet, co-sponsored by Psi Chi and the Psychology Club. The banquet includes a State of the Department Address by the department chair and recognition of an outstanding undergraduate and an outstanding graduate student. Scholarship recipients are also recognized.
The Spring 2012 banquet was held at the White Rose Pavilion on April 17, 2012. Approximately 100 students, faculty, emerti faculty, and alumni attended.
Dr. Christopher Vowels received the Department's Outstanding Alumni Award.

The recipient of the Arthur J. TerKeurst Scholarship was Kirstie Bash.
The recipient of the Robert N. Higgins Award was Rebecca Conrad-Brown.
The recipient of the Joseph J. Ryan Graduate Scholarship was Angel Munoz.
The Jeff Brown Leadership Awards were presented to Matthew Honeycutt and Rebecca Conrad-Brown.

The Outstanding Undergraduate Student was Matthew Honeycutt.
The Outstanding Graduate Student was Jennifer Seeley.
Jennifer Seeley was also recognized as the College of Health, Science, and Technology Outstanding Graduate Student and the winner of the University of Central Missouri Reid Hemphill Outstanding Graduate Student Award.
The Outstanding Undergraduate Professor was Dr. Steve Schuetz.
The Outstanding Graduate Professor was Dr. Joseph Ryan.
Professor Appreciation Awards were presented to each faculty member. Emeriti faculty were also recognized.
