Accounting Students Association
Accounting Students Association (ASA) is a professional organization designed to enhance the interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and networking needed to effectively compete in the job market.
Through its affiliation with the Institute of Management Accounting, Missouri Society of CPAs, American Society of Women Accountants, and Institute of Internal Auditors the students have an opportunity for networking and professional socialization through participating in the activities of the Kansas City chapter of the professional organizations and the mentoring program.
ASA members interact with UCM Beta Alpha Psi chapter on projects of mutual interest to further networking opportunities.
Activities include speaker meetings, plant tours, community service projects, volleyball and pizza socials with BKD and State Street Bank.
Meetings are held regularly.
