  On-Scene Crash Investigation 12-Hour Course. Sponsored by the Missouri Safety Center.

Missouri Safety Center Dress Code:
The Center is a formal training environment for civilians and professionals alike. All students are asked to follow our dress code which consists of attire that is typically found in a professional office environment; T-shirts, tank tops, shorts or sandals are not appropriate in class.

This 12 hour course was created for individuals within law enforcement, or state agencies, assigned as a Crash Investigator. The course is designed to teach participants the basics of identifying and preserving evidence at a crash scene, and introduces the proper methods for documenting critical evidence necessary for later reconstructions. It is meant for individuals who will not only respond to a crash scene to gather and document evidence, but will also ensure that this important information is available to assist a crash reconstructionist. This course will provide an agency with personnel trained to identify, document, and preserve critical evidence that is often lost at the crash scene,12 hours of POST credit is awarded to all full-time Missouri law enforcement officers.

Location: MO Safety Center Highway Safety Instructional Park, 1200 S Holden, Warrensburg, MO 64093.

COST: Tuition for this course is $150 per person. Participants can pay via credit card (MasterCard, VISA or Discover only - by calling 800-801-3588), check made payable to the Missouri Safety Center. Requirements: Because all training materials and course-work will be provided and performed electronically, students must bring a laptop with the free Adobe Reader program installed. This will allow the students to become completely familiar with the material both during and after the class, also in some cases, it will help students prepare for the next in a series of classes.
