Clear & Present Danger: Synthetic Cannabinoids & Stimulants - 4 Hours. Maximum number to enroll in Course 50. Sponsored by Boonville Police Dept. & the Missouri Safety Center. Missouri Safety Center Dress Code: The Center is a formal training environment for civilians and professionals alike. All students are asked to follow our dress code which consists of attire that is typically found in a professional office environment; T-shirts, tank tops, shorts or sandals are not appropriate in class. An overview or a synopsis of the course: The purpose of this course is to inform Missouri law enforcement officers, prosecutors, school professionals and healthcare professionals regarding the enormous amount of new synthetic drug threats facing Missourians today. The presentation will cover the source of these substances, their appearance, their packaging where they are being sold, signs and symptoms seen in users, their status (legal/illegal) under Missouri law and suggestions as to how to stop their sales/distribution. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive the allocated C.E.H.'s (4 hours) under Missouri P.O.S.T. Please note the starting time to ensure you are credited for attendance. Tuition is $30 per person and is due as soon as possible after registration. Your seat is not confirmed until payment is made, and must be received no later than March 15, 2013 to hold your place in the course.
