Dr. Akis Kalaitzidis received his B.A. from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in Economics and Political Science, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Temple University in Philadelphia in Political Science. He joined the UCM faculty in 2004. He teaches a variety of classes, including American Government, The European Union, Politics of Post-Communist Transitions, International Relations, International Organizations, and American Foreign Policy. His work appears in a variety of journals, book reviews/contributions, and conference publications.
