Joining the UCM Department of Theatre in 2001, Jan brings years of being actively involved in the Warrensburg community to promoting and marketing our season of shows. She serves as the academic advisor for theatre minors and a set of senior studio productions. Jan studied and served as a graduate assistant under Leslie Irene Coger, nationally noted expert and text author in Oral Interpretation and Reader’s Theatre. Following completion of her MA, Jan taught and directed numerous shows at William Jewell College and Avila College. She is a member of the Speech Teachers Association of Missouri and a recipient of their Outstanding Speech Teacher Award.
